Hej Readers (that's hello in Danish!)

My name is Mallory and I am currently a Junior at the University of Richmond. Let me start by answering the question all college students are subjected to: what's your major/minor? I am double majoring in Biology and Psychology on the Pre-Med track (exhilarating, I know). I am thrilled to say that this upcoming spring semester (2019) I will be studying at the Danish Institute for Study Abroad (DIS) in Copenhagen!

But wait! Who am I? Well I'm from a small small small small town in Upstate New York (although it's basically just Canada) with a whopping population of 1,589 according to the Census Bureau. So I guess you could say I'm a "small-town" girl who never really liked the small part of the aforementioned phrase. Cue traveling!

Believe it or not this is my first time blogging so please bear with me. That being said I'm genuinely excited to create and share this blog with you! In fact reading past blogs of DIS students and other study abroad alums helped ease my nerves of leaving my home. I hope I can maybe help do the same for you!
